Pilothouse looking to starboard, A55 "SEGUE"

  • Exuma Cays, Bahamas
  • Sailing these cats is fun, even singlehanded.
  • The self tacking staysail is the workhorse of the sailplan.
  • Exceptional windward performance evidenced by tracks laid down on chart plotter.
  • Untitled photo
  • Everything leads to the central cockpit making sailing simple and nearly effortless.
  • It takes lots of string but it is easy to manage.
  • The mainsail falls into the stack pack and the cover can be tweaked and zipped by jumping up to the pilothouse top.<br />
Two large steps are on each side of the pilothouse and provide easy access.
  • Kate tending the sail cover, Javelin
  • Not only do you see clearly because there is no deck house in the way, you see clearly under the sails too.
  • Going to windward in 47 kts wind. I love my pilothouse.
